About Me

My photo
Hey everbody.. My name is Katie, i'm a senior at Edgar High and i am 17 yrs old. I only have one brother, and i can't even consider him a brother. I don't have any pets, but i do have the neighbors dog! I believe that the fact that i am adopted has shaped my life. If i wasn't adopted by my parents, i wouldn't be who i am today. I thank my parents for that. My mom is always there for me when i need her, sure she can be a mom, but she is always there as a friend too. Me and my parents are very close, and i think that is the way it will always stay. To me psycology is important because it is all over the place! It is one of those things that you will never be able to run away from. So everybody just has to lean back and accept it. The definition of psycology to me would have to be... The reasons why things happen and how they happen. The reasons we make the choices we do, why people are depressed, why some people are hyper, and why we act the way we act on a daily basis.

**This is a really old blog that i didn't have done. So here it is! :)

What is the importance of research?
Research is important because you use it every day. No matter what you are doing you always have to research what is going on. You have to be able to explain information or a topic that you have to learn about. You have to research so you know more about it. It is extremely important.
Provide an example of reseach that is relevant to your life and tell us why.
One example of research would be the kind that i am doing right now. If i was to go on psyblog and find an artical to write about, i would be researching. Whenever you are looking up information to help teach yourself about a certian topic you are researching.
So what did you learn (3 things) and why is each important?
I learned that in research it is always good to have a; hypothisis, or a theory and also it can be good to have different ways of researching or coming up with liable information. Such as: A case study, a survey, or a naturalistic observation.
